A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer answer the requirements of your website, or when you undergo constant network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the help desk support team to respond to you, it may be a clever idea to switch your provider, i.e. to move all the files for your websites along with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At wcec, we are aware that this can be difficult & time–consuming. That’s why we will do all that for you at no cost!Our practiced technical team reps will move your website content from your present hosting provider to us. Our techs have got broad experience migrating websites and can handle anything – from a regular WordPress blog or Joomla^™–based website, to a highly complex, custom–made application.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time window, because there are lots of variables, including the size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our best to transfer your web site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not very large).

A: We’ll need the login details for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the web site’s name (domain name).

A: Our Privacy Policy is an inseparable part of the agreement that we’ll have with you as a client. We’re focused on protecting the safety of the private details gathered from the clients. To do that, we use technical security measures to avoid the loss, the misapplication, the modification or the illegal leak of the personal details under our control. The measures include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial methods to safeguard and secure the details that we gather on the web. When we request users to submit financial information (for example, a credit card number), this info is masked using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption method.

A: Your site will continue to work just like it did before with your previous hosting provider. As soon as we are done with the transfer, your site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we will alert you to preview it. If it is functioning correctly, all you will have to do is edit the name server records corresponding to your domain name. Your site will be transferred over to us without any downtime.

A: Nope. We will never touch base with your hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the website transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–driven hosting platforms. Generally, if we can access your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source web site building platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
